Im excited to announce that I have been chosen for my first ever makeup review sponsored by BrandBacker and Markwins International! For the purpose of this review I received 3 out of the 5 available Limited Edition One Direction makeup tins. Each tin contained 6 eyeshadows, 4 lip glosses, 2 nail varnishes, an eye pencil a lip top coat, and two make up applicators (one for the eyes and one for the lips).
Each tin has a photo of one of the band members and they all have the same shades of eyeshadow, lipgloss, and nail vanish.
Eyeshadow:
- Nobody Cares - Metallic Silver
- Tell Me A Lie - Metallic Nude Pink
- Same Mistakes - Metallic Mint
- I would - Smokey Brown Shimmer
- Summer Love - Smokey Purple Haze
- Everything About you - Smokey Black Shimmer
The eyeshadows all had went on nicely and held true to their colors. They went on the same color as they looked in the package without having to put on multiple layers. I would recommend using a primer to make them last a little longer. My favorite was the shimmery ones, they added a nice touch to a smokey eye.
Lip Glosses:
- Loved You First - Bubblegum Pink
- One Thing - Frosted Pink Ice
- Irresistible - Shimmered Pearl
- Heart Attack - Creamy Rose Shine
Lip Gloss Top Coat
- Over Again - Silver Glitter Sparkle
I have to say, although in the package they look cheap, they actually had a very nice smooth creamy consistency. They were easy to apply and looked nice on their own or with the glittery lip top coat. They added a nice suddle tint of color to my lips and I even enjoyed using the top coat on its own for a simple glimmer.
Nail Varnish
- Stole My Heart - Magenta Pink Shimmer
- Alive - Multicolored Glitter Flakes
I absolutely loved these colors! The pink was fun and bright with a nice shimmer and I only need to add one coat! Add the glitter flakes on top for an even more fun and sparkly effect or wear the glitter flakes on their own for a more simple yet fun look.
If you remove the product from the tin there is a hidden message underneath! How sweet!
Overall, I was surprised at the quality of the make up and nail polishes. As a 20 something year old, i was expecting them to be a little cheap and not work well but I was actual very pleased with the product. I would recommend purchasing this for your daughters, siblings, cousins, or any One Direction fan regardless of age!
